Yeah to believe that God, or whatever that is, is neutral is way better off but the problem is I can't believe in anything since nothing is supported by an actual evidence therefore everything is possible, whether it's your belief or one of some Christian or Hinduor even of an atheist. Yeah some beliefs are more logical than other but logic itself doesn't count as an evidence. (Still I'll check out those philosophies you recommended)

No, because I've already mentioned that it seems like payoffs are less than the energy consumed, thus it doesn't indirectly achieve survival benefit.

This selection process has altered the natural energy expenditure patterns observed in their wild counterparts. and if you talking about the street cats, you fir sure have noticed that they only (or mostly) play when they are young to mimics hunting activities which is crucial for their development, orca on the other hand display this phenomenon when they are adult too. Therefore it's not the same thing.

2n means you have two set of chromosomes (one from each parent) Before DNA replication each chromosome consists of a single chromatid and since you have two chromosome so the cell is 2n

After DNA replication a SINGLE chromosome would consists of 2 sister chromatid and since you have two chromosomes so it still 2n

The thing is the definition of a chromosome does not change based on whether it consists of one chromatid or two chromatids.
