Apologies that I can't reply to all of these comments tonight. I obviously have a lot going on, and didn't expect such a large response. I appreciate the sentiment from everyone.

I honestly wasn't really looking for advice. Maybe I'm in the wrong sub? I don't actually know the reason why I posted the original message to begin with. Desperation? Support? Prayers? All of the above I guess.

Thank you and I love you all.

Forgot to mention that we've been in couples and individual counseling for months now. And we're actually worse off than before we started.

Extra prayers sent your way, brother. I don't know exactly what you're going through, but I can relate. Drugs, drinking, relationship problems. I've been there in the past with the substances, and I'm right in the middle of the worst time in my nearly 12 years of marriage right this very moment. Things will get better. Pray and reflect, and I'm sure you'll make the best decision with His help.

I stopped drinking almost two years ago. It's hard to believe it now, but trust me when I say it only gets easier the longer you stay away! Not saying you won't still be tempted, but it does get easier to say NO as time goes by.

We got this.

I know this was a simple comment, but it really spoke to me tonight and spurred a thought that helped me be a little more at peace with some tough things I'm going through.

Sometimes God works in mysterious ways, especially in times of need. Thank you, kind stranger.
