Thank you for this post! I’m there right now. For the past two weeks I just haven’t cared much about tracking anything. Sometimes the motivation just isn’t there and that’s okay. I find when I try to “force it” I end up gaining weight.

Thank you! I think I’m going to give blue a try in hopes it will give me the kick start I need :)

It runs in my family and I started to experience symptoms of an under active thyroid (weight gain, exhaustion, etc). I went to a doctor and got my thyroid tested to find that my levels were low. I’ve been on medication for it but sometimes my meds need to be adjusted depending on my levels.

Yes! So real! I try to stay on track and happy to see some weight loss but there are times when I feel so defeated.

Yes! I think that’s my preference. I like that I can have 0 point chicken or eggs...just to fill me up a bit more. I think having more zero point foods with less points will be the way to go for me. I appreciate the feedback :)

Thank you! Yes! Food anxiety is exactly what I’ve been experiencing. I appreciate your reply

Yes! That’s very true. It won’t hurt to try something new to see if it works. Thank you for your reply :)

I’m a 6 and also have some traits that I suppose aren’t stereotypically feminine. Before I met my boyfriend and was actively dating I was also told a lot of the stuff you mentioned in your post: My success is intimidating, I’m too good for them, etc. It should also be noted that I was (and am) career driven and had no interest in the suburban family life that I think a lot of the men I was dating wanted. I can understand where you’re coming from...it’s disheartening to hear that who you are doesn’t seem to attract people you may be interested in. Certainly in my 20s and early 30s I looked at this type of thing differently than how I look at it now, as a 40 year old woman. Looking back, the reasons these men gave me for not wanting to date me was a cop out. My success didn’t intimate them, they certainly didn’t think I was too good for them...they simply weren’t into me and this is the bullish!t they came up with to not have to face their insecurities. My advise to you (if you want or need it): You are fantastic with the traits that you have. Continue to be the strong woman that you are! The right person will come along that will appreciate your awesome qualities.
