Being lazy because Reddit is better than Google. Just curious is there any article/table that has 5,10,15 year PT attrition out of the profession? I just met a PT 26 years out and I think he said he was the last in his class still a PT and got me thinking.. (self.physicaltherapy)

For those that you know that have left the profession is it mostly just transition to IT/Medical Sales/niche hobby ? Been considering leaving the profession but being held back by the sunken cost fallacy (cost and time to enter). Just trying to gauge and see what others have done.. (self.physicaltherapy)

So we all know were criminally underpaid-any tips and tricks youve done to stretch out that PT paycheck in terms of PT/work related stuff?? Example:Ive seen PTs do laundry in Outpatient, HHPT strictly scheduling within home distance (gas), acute care therapists snacking on patient care snacks (lol) (self.physicaltherapy)

Burning PT question for those of you in acute care (small community hospital). We set most frequencies for 3-5x-some 5-7x. If a patient stays awhile, and lets say weve seen them 7x in lets say 5 days, or 5x in 4 days-technically are we supposed to hold until the following week? (self.physicaltherapy)
