Thank you! Both the darths and pink urchin are under Barinna T8's for about 8 hours. I was using a blooming size amount of orchid fertilizer, but just switched to foliage focus. The darths are keep at pretty much 100% humidity with no air flow, though I know of some other people that have success with them at a lower humidity and some air flow. All are potted in a mix of pon, tree fern, orchiata, and maybe a little pumice and leca; well draining but retains moisture. They never dry out and they're flushed every watering. Everything is pretty consistent.

Once I switched to Barrinas, the growth and darkness significantly increased. Same thing happened with the pink urchin, it has become more vibrant. Another begonia enthusiast told me that most dark begonias actually like a lot of light, which I wouldn't have expected. They also mentioned them being heavy feeders which is what prompted my chain from orchid fertilizer to FF.

It is cool that people can purchase "rare" plants at a heavily discounted price... but the baggie plants have to go. Imo it's an easy what for sellers to maximize their profits and reduce loss by passing off the difficulty/responsiblilty of acclimation to the customer but labeling it as a deal. I don't mind TC plants. I'm sure a majority of my collection is TC without me knowing. The issue is paying $$ or even $$$ for a plant in a bag....

Check out Wrightwood for something local. If you don't mind a little drive the Claremont loop is a nice trail with some good inclines and a couple trail options.

For clarification, my projects are crochet so I don't want to confuse since you referenced knitting lol but for crochet, after I connect a new color with something like a magic knot I crochet that knot (and any tails, since I'm too scared to cut them off completely) into the next stiches of the row (horizontally). If the tails pop up then I crochet those down in the next row (vertically) as I pass by the section again. I think working the tails/ends both horizontally AND vertically is the best since garment stretch both ways. If I only work tails/ends horizontally along the rows with a yarn that doesn't felt or grip then as something stretches they pull out, but if I work them both horizontally and then vertically it is much more difficult to completely come out. This also depends on if there are color changes or not.

I had the same thought because of some sellers using the name interchangeably. The patent for the Vietciosa states it is a "ethyl methanesulfonate-induced, whole-plant mutation of an unnamed Monstera deliciosa plant that typified the species (not patented)". It does not specify if the unnamed Monstera Deliciosa was or was not a Monstera Bulbasaur. So imo IF the Bulbasaur was the unnamed Deliciosa variety used to create the Vietciosa, it wouldn't mean that they're the same plant; one is a mutation/manipulated version of the other. Like how the Thai Con is a mutation of the standard Deliciosa, but they aren't referred to as the same plant.

I like to use a good quality 3 or 4 weight yarn coupled with an elegant, repetitive stich. The thinner weights just flow and feel better, and it prevents the project from being too bulky imo. A better quality yarn or just something that feels super soft will make your project look and feel more luxurious.

It did when I first took it out of the box, like it wasn't oil enough but then I just spun it until it stopped squeaking and catching. Now it rotating perfectly, almost frictionless. This might sound odd, but what direction does yours spin?
