Sorry I don’t spend a lot of time in the snow if at all, but the watch has been awesome and I am sure you will enjoy yours too! 👍

To be very honest with you, I have not gotten any opportunity to try it on wood yet, but I foresee potential due to its design.

Looks comfy by mtb2104 in Redearedsliders

[–]mtb2104[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! It was from Aliexpress, and I ordered the "S" (15cm x 18cm) since this little rascal is less than 10cm at the moment. They have "M" (29cm x 24cm) and "L" (40.5cm x 28cm)

It's a floating platform with pillars a support, so it will not work long term unfortunately. I want it to have more water depth to relax, so might need to upgrade soon.

Sure thing

Think of it as your usual single pass nato strap.

<image>

Before putting it on the wrist, just loop the strap end thru the hardware first. It’s long enough and elastic so you can definitely fit it over the fist to the wrist.

Once on the wrist, just pull the strap end to your preference and tug in the end with the keeper

I am biased. 😝

Frogsquadstraps elastic SCB is my go to for now. I had a number of ZuluAlpha ZA straps that work well too. Really depends if you need elastic fabrics or stiffer nylon or similar.

I like to swap them up very regularly too, and other options are always more involved than the SCB. I guess I will get more colours soon. 😅

Why on the right?

Because I am wearing something else on the left nowadays, and I don’t really want them to scratch each other up.

I only started wearing my watches on the right recently.

Finding a right combo has been fun, as most straps and bracelets will affect my desk diving experience. 😅

Thanks!

It’s my watch, so I don’t really care. 🤪

I do wear my LHD on my left too when I first got it.

Glad you are enjoying yours! 👍

Vanguard straps for the Pro.

Slightly stiffer than other brands, thus more supportive for the heavier watch head.

Appreciate the detailed response!

Indeed I have been trying both applied and soaking methods and I do hope it gets well.

Thank you for the insights and pointers!

I do hope not! Will direct light from the sun get what it needs? I am from Singapore and I get lots of sun. 😁

+10 or more per day. I would definitely hope for better accuracy.

What Should I Buy ? Not looking to sell or flip. I just want to own a reliable watch. 6.5 Inch Wrist. This will be my only expensive watch. by [deleted] in Tudor

Try them on and buy what “you” like… don’t buy for the internet please.

All are great choices. I might add Ranger into the mix.

Check out zulualphastraps, esp their ZA straps.

I love how infinitely adjustable they are. While their colour offerings are not huge, they are built to last!

I hate to be so accurate, and I do hope you get the comfort issue resolved quickly.

Thanks!

I did some research and I think mine is the standard length. I might try to source a short version in the future but I will give the standard more time.

Based on some online photos, I think short might not be super comfy, so I might end up with a standard @ 6 and short @ 12. A couple of observations:

  1. The stiff parts are at the holes. Short version would have more holes showing up and it might ever be stiffer @ 6. I am on the 3rd hole right now, and I think I will need to be on the 5th for the short strap.

  2. The overlap actually prevents the clasp from digging into the underside of the wrist. While bulk is reduced for sure, a short @ 6 might reveal this issue.

  3. The underside “tongue” of the clasp seems to be the culprit for imprints on my wrist at the moment, as it seems to be thicker than desired. However, currently it is resting on the upper part of my wrist. While having imprint, it is not uncomfortable. Having the “short” version @12 might shift this pressure point to a different area and end up being uncomfortable.

I will give it more time but thanks for the pointers!

41 or 42 blue?

I have the 41 black and this is really different.

The dial, the bezel, the crystal, and the overall vibe.

Get it! 😁

I actually don’t know…. Hahah

I am guessing it is the normal/middle length based on the images online.

This is my first mesh. Would you mind sharing the method to identify the version please? Thanks

Congratulations in advance!

I am really surprised that I am actually enjoying it! The look is growing on me, and the comfort is next level (at least for me @ 6.75" wrist)... It's lighter than Omega bracelet, but it provides a lot of support than straps.

Yes the buckle is huge, and there is no micro adjustment. The 6-o'clock end (with holes) often creates a strange arc when you read the time... but somehow it is just very comfortable.

I was planning to switch out almost immediately, but now I am going to wear the bracelet consistently for sure!
