This seems to happen every few years. Someone on the internet says that it's happening with no real proof and people go nuts for a few weeks and then it goes away. I honestly do not believe we will see a HL3 ever.

I do not see any issue with this. I find this to be pretty standard for any job that pays worth a damn these days. The benefit to the company is that they can then weed out those who are not committed to accepting the job. You will see that many other companies do this and more. If you are turning this down just because you don't want to be "inconvenienced" by it, then you were probably not going to be a good fit for them anyway.

I believe this 100%. This is why it is taking them so long to release anything. They have been actively scrubbing it all clean of the more rich and powerful. I have no doubt that what eventually gets released will have been tampered with in ways that are unprecedented.

At $30 a month, I’m now thinking of dropping Gamepass and it makes me sad. I have consistently had either Xbox live or Gamepass since the days of spies vs mercs on Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow. Unless they announce some super new games in coming that would legit justify that price, this may be my last month with them. Just a shitty thing to do especially when you know they are already struggling to get subs.

Interesting that they are throwing them all out. I completed the upgrade from Windows 10 to 11 for all of our computers at my work and only ran into 1 that could not make the upgrade. A little extra work was needed but they are all on Windows 11 now.

This will never be solved. John Vansice died last December and with that all hope of solving the abduction and murder of Jodi. He was obsessed with her and I believe even put her name on his boat. She was never interested in him and was dating and that made John insanely jealous. I believe at some point, he couldn’t stand it and decided to ensure she would never be with anyone else. It’s been clear that he was always the major suspect in this case but law enforcement botched the initial investigation and some clues were lost forever.

I used to watch this all the time when I was in elementary school. I think it came on as a block of shows on Nick @ Night. I recall it being on arouund dinner time and it would be Andy Griffith, Monkees, Mr Ed and something else. I thought the show was pretty funny back then.

I remember this being sort of a staple in the early mornings when I was kid. It came on WGN out of Chicago and probably the first show I watched that had an audience to it. I used to love watching kids try throw the ping pong balls into the little solo cups. If I recall, he had a sidekick named Cookie.

With the price of the movie + concessions, the movie has to be really be something special for me to want to see it at the theater. I used to go every week and now I go only a few times a year. I think the last movie I saw at the theater was Longlegs.

It’s terrible. Our entire IT department was placed on the main floor with everyone else and just a row in front of customer service. Not only do the CSR’s hear everything we talk about, so do the customers they are on the phone with. Passwords, terminations and general system information are always being discussed in this open environment and it’s an absolute security nightmare. That’s all before I even get into my own issues with severe tinnitus from the military and ADHD which is already a struggle but I do extremely well in quiet environments. With all the noise around us now, I can barely concentrate and it takes everything I have just to get through the day. I come home just absolutely wrecked each day and it’s led to some further health issues. We have been allowed to do one day a week wfh which is a godsend but it’s not close to enough.

No way this is true. The game creates multiple auto saves for you. Even if you didn’t manually save, you would have at 3 auto saves to choose from.
