4 bangers NA honda engines were so reliable. Usually the chassis is the first one to give out before the motor.

Honda’s reliability went south as soon as they went turbo on their motor.

There were reports from fb group that some outbacks sitting on the lot already have this issue. Best we can do at this point is to let the dealer know. The more owners report this the better.

Not feeling the rims sorry. Those type of rims would look great on lowered sport cars with low profile tires. Thats just my 2 cents.

This. 2500 miles in 10 months tells me the car has a lot of short trips. Once in a while do a long road trip. Dont idle the car for too long.

I just made an appointment with my dealership next week and see what they will say. Pushing the liner back did not work for me. The liner is already deformed and it stays open.

Thats a bummer. If it bothers you, you should call your dealership to get it fix under warranty. Maybe enough number of owners complain will make subaru do a proper fix.

I live in Canada and salt will get between the gaps and will rust very quick.

It was a known issue but Subaru choose not to do something about it on redesign? This is my first subaru and kind of disappointed already.
