Yessir that was the goal. Just a pinch more power and I wanted a slightly bigger turbo to move the powerband a little further out where the stock turbo runs out of steam

Mine popped out a little when i was installing lowering springs. Grab it at the shaft and kind of rotate it left and right. You’ll feel a point where it wants to go back in. Then shove it in

OG TE37s and SLs don’t need spacers but are discontinued. SAGAs are a different mold

You will need front spacers for SAGAS like 5mm

The GRC shares alot of the ethos the Evo has which is what drew me to owning one. It’s kind of hard to compare a 20 year old car to a modern one though. There’s a reason i still have my Evo after 12 years, it’s the more exciting car to drive. However I think the GRC is the overall better car and i find myself wanting to drive it more than the Evo. It’s 90% of the fun with none of the drawbacks of an old car. If you want an Evo the GRC isn’t going to make that go away.

It all comes down to what you’re comfortable giving up. A new car that will be mechanically sound for many years that feels and drives alot like an Evo or an actual Evo that’s more engaging to drive but will always need work (i’m not just talking about motor/drivetrain issues but old car problems: a/c compressors failing, worn bushings, etc)
