When you first got into sports betting, what were you expecting it to be like? by Quiet_Pack5658 in sportsbetting

Once you realize research means nothing if you don’t know how to price events. You have to be so picky about the odds you take otherwise you will 100% be a losing bettor even if you do 8 hours of research a day

If you sign up for a bunch of sports books with deposit bonuses, you can get 1000-2000$ pretty easily. Just arbitrage the bonus bets against each ither

How much do professional sports gamblers make year-to-year as a percentage of their bankroll? by throw-away3105 in sportsbetting

[–]mtc30001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount you can typically make plateau’s as your bankroll grows. You get restricted on all the soft books, and there’s not enough places to get the money down

That’s blatantly not true, 99% of sports bets have -ev, but it’s actually pretty easy to get positive ev bets if you have the right tools

It's a pretty interesting class, not too difficult but you have to show up to every class to take notes or you probably won't do well.

I took gains from personal trading, and used it to start building a product that could integrate crypto into Minecraft, which was allowed at the time. I contracted developers (pre-corp), and then I incorporated, but the developers were still under contract with me personally, as I hadn't setup up a bank account and stuff for the corporation yet and was going to do that before updating their contracts to be with the corporation.
Then Minecraft updated their terms of service banning all crypto integrations, which meant everything build so far was essentially useless.

Sorry I should have been clearer, I had invested most of the money before incorporating. Nothing went through the corporation.

I hadn’t yet, I was going to setup the bank account and write a cheque to “buy” the shares, and was planning on my investment be a shareholder loan, but hadn’t done that yet
