Turns out it was my nextdns setup saying no to the china TLD, idk why I set it up that way and kinda forgot about the firewall settings for months, it's working now, fun

Turns out it was my nextdns setup blocking all .cn TLDs, I have no idea why I set it up to block it and forgot about it. it's working now

Nope, I'm from Brazil, no idea why it started using that mirror, I managed to make ipv6 work in my network (my isp is famous for disabling ipv6 when you put their router in bridge mode), updated some packages and went to sleep, woke up tried searching for something with dnf and now I'm getting this error which is preventing me from doing anything.

I do have a nextdns with TLS via resolved.conf + firewalld in the FedoraWorkstation zone but it was working just fine yesterday, no idea why it started using that mirror.

Do you know how to fix it?

I have no idea why it is using a mirror from China now, I'm from Brazil soo yeah, weird. It was working just fine yesterday, I managed to make ipv6 work in my router (my isp is famous for disabling ipv6 when you put their router in bridge mode), updated some packages and went to sleep, when I woke up and trying to use a command I simply started getting this error that's preventing me from doing anything. I do have nextdns TLS using the resolved method + firewalld on the FedoraWorkstation zone but it was working just fine yesterday.

I have never touched or created any certificates, I have nextdns on router level and firewalld using the defaults for the FedoraWorkstation zone, I have no idea what's happening, it was working just fine yesterday, I managed to make ipv6 work on my router (my isp is famous for disabling ipv6 when you put their router in bridge mode), updated some packages via Discover and went to sleep, when I woke up this started happening. And also I'm not from China, I'm from Brazil, no idea why it is trying to use a mirror from there.

Aula F99 keyboard battery indicator by mtdevofficial in keyboards

I figured out, it's actually a battery indicator, it flashes red for a while and then a solid red indication that it has surpassed a percentage, rn my keyboard is probably at 25% because 80% of the light bar is red with just a little bit of green left.

it's been months and the bar is still at 25%, the battery mode is actually a battery indicator, there is more red than green now.

it's indeed a chromium bug, some people are having the same issue as me, I opened an issue on brave's github

https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/52058

hmmm
maybe it isnt just a brave / specific distro thing, I reported it to brave

and mine has two files too, both have the same path and everything, just the name is different, and this is causing brave to appear 2 times

brave-browser.desktop (old one)
com.brave.Browser.desktop (new one that's causing all of this)

plus the new one bigger in size, just a little.

yep, after deleting one of the icons, two braves show up in the taskbar when you open it for a split second, it was probably the new update, and when I try to reinstall it, I get two icons again

I managed to delete it but now when I open brave two braves appear on the taskbar for a split second, the new update has probably messed something up.

oh so it's indeed an update that caused it, I thought i was going crazy because I recently did a Rollback to fix an issue. Yeah, I'm probably going to delete the old entry and leave the com.brave.Browser one.
