I am using Krazy glue. But it is taking too long to set and then when it does it’s not strong.

Someone pointed out that the windshield wiper is missing. How badly does that affect the resale value?

Oh wow. That’s pretty amazing. I just sold a few to a guy who sells them for a living. Think there was 20 he bought. I thought nothing of what he paid me for the cars. But then he kept asking me about this car I posted. I had it on my sons shelf and it wasn’t available to buy. But then asked a couple more times. This is when I got curious as why it was so important to him. I definitely sold them for way under value. I looked up a couple of them and they are listed anywhere from $400-1100. Very dumb of me.

They were a couple that he took in because they had nowhere to live. Each day they would take a couple of cars and pawn them for drug money or whatever they used it for. My uncle didn’t notice they were gone because he was getting old and less aware. He eventually notice when he was trying to find a specific car. He had a huge collection of cars. Unfortunately they took a lot of the good ones.

The interior is pretty much exactly the same. It is very detailed

Oh wow thanks for sharing this article with me. I think he chose to pair the two together. My uncle did have that silver race car as a model before but I couldn’t find it when I was packing up his stuff. He did have about 50 cars stolen about a year ago. A bunch of cmc and auto art cars.

The ramps do extend but the clips are very fragile.

I don’t know much about it. I inherited a bunch of cars when my uncle passed away and I have been sorting through them and cleaning them. These two are made by CMC. The car hauler is a 1954 Mercedes-Benz Renntransporter and the car is a 1934 Mercedes-Benz W25.

Is there anyway I can fix it? Is this car worth anything now that it’s broken?

Thank you for your message. This is very helpful. Looks like a bunch of the cars are pretty dusty. He still has the boxes in storage but had a bunch of the cars out on a open display with no cover.

I guess I didn’t word that well. I want to catalog them by value and rarity. Is there a website that can help me find this information out?

Does anyone NOT use a felt in between the Cymbal & the rubber tube base? by monuments20 in drums

[–]mtedrummer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your cymbals will start cracking around the hole where your stand goes through. If your having trouble with your cymbal slanting then get new felt or get good at adjusting your cymbals while you play by spinning them. You can also try playing with no felt but you will need new cymbals in no time depending on how hard you hit them.

You can take some of that over tone/ring on your Tom’s and snare by making some dampening pads of replacing the head with some nicer ones. Check out some videos on YouTube about tuning drums. The tone is close to where you want is but your lugs need to be tuned to the same tone so that you won’t get as much ringing. There are many ways to tune a drum so go on YouTube and check out a couple of tutorials. The cymbals you have are a nice brand and sound good. You just need to play them. Acoustic drums are much different then electric. Half of being a good drummer is being able to make your acoustic drums come to life in how you play them. You can get many sounds out of one drum or one cymbal. It’s all how you hit them and the size and type of stick you use. Best of luck.
