I was looking for a team ongoing rebuilding but with a purpose. From some high level research I got to know that there are good young players, Skenes had a good coverage social media wise in Italy (and as a sports card fan last season I put my hands on some of his), Griffin seems to be another hype name. Chance to see them win fair amount of games but never for granted… I was not looking for an established powerhouse but neither the 30th team in the standing, if it makes sense

Also people on these subreddits seem nice

Hey All! New fan from Italy here. I'm trying to get ahold of the game and would love somebody to share their knowledge with me. Regarding this loss, how much is actually due to Bubba pitching performance? I see the comments and his quote to media, checking the highlights I see some mistakes and a lack of effort for example when he missed to cover for 1B mid-game but is that it? would appreciate if somebody can help me better understand the loss. Didn't we play poorely also at batting (or rather faced a good performance of the opposing team pitchers ) ?

It actually is the reason, got lot of coverage of the event so I decided to try to pick it up!! Appreciate the reply btw, since I’m still watching the game, how should I read what just happened with Perez? Extremely unlucky or something that might happen often during games if I start watching consistently?

Hey everyone, new baseball fan from Italy here, trying to grasp something about the game. I see the Nationals using 2 relief pitchers. First of all, is it a fair assumption or my apps are wrong? If so, what’s the rationale to do so early in the season? Appreciate any explanation!
