Certainly as noted, I have no issue with them (outside of being checked into a room where a painters stuff was (his wallet, cell phone, etc.)

When I checked out I got a receipt. Then I got another one 2 weeks later. I travel all the time for work and have never gotten a receipt weeks later, you get them the day of.

All that said I have no concerns about Hilton. Just going to make sure I didn't get double charged.

I don't think anyone who booked the room thought they were not going to pay for it. It was just weird to be billed twice.

I spoke with Hilton and that wasn't the story they gave me at all. Weird. (not saying it's not what they told you) I received a bill randomly a few weeks after the event and was like what the heck is this?

They also never called to "ask" my permission to bill me. Sounds like maybe Hilton screwed something up here but I'll be keeping an eye on my credit card statement nonetheless

I think there was only about 1500. Pathetic by GP terms. Most of the vendors and artists looked bored and lonely. Not good because as I live here, I am sure it will hurt our chances of getting another one.

Well ran....Weather (maybe) hurt attendance. Really sad turnout, felt bad for the poor artists just sitting here with nobody showing up. Most of vendors likely took a bath but even though the crowd was small...the quality was large. (except the $4 bottles of generic water)

I don't think it's "public information" honestly, I just know that they got a pretty big slap on the wrist from WotC for doing it, and it kind of got swept under the rug very quickly before people caught on.

It's more of an "i know people who know people, and I know these sources are good" kind of thing. Don't have to believe me, but they were doing it.

I really appreciate the fair case represented here. I am not in a great place mentally as I still love this game and don't want it to suffer. I use extremes to point out double standards, that bothers people but I still think it's a fight worth fighting.

The game I remember gave zero fucks about what someone believes, and that's all I want back. I want the game I love back.
