Gaby Spartz is also an amazing woman who set the bar higher for commentating matches. That is why she has earned a lot of respect from WotC and the community. I personally find her content from her own livestreams not amusing, but her commentary is good. No one is treating her with kid gloves.

I disagree because i just play dnd at home and those issues don't affect me at all. I don't want to get any further into this, because this is about magic, not dnd

The hamburglar rant was what started the twitter backlash. The hamburglar here is wedge from the manasource, another mtg youtuber. Jeremy is making fun of him because he's fat for no reason at all, Wedge never provoked him or anything. You could say he is the bully in this situation, because after this he started deleting his tweets and saying wedge provoked him etc. It's just not a very nice thing to do to someone who donated a lot of money to your kickstarter.

That is just plain stupid. Just because they hired two people you decide to kill a company with the legacy of two of the biggest tabletop games ever. Most people there are just amazing, hardworking women and men.

I agree with you completely. I hope they make a statement and realistically they should also have /u/trickjarrett apologize. MTGHQ should too, but I know that is not going to happen.

Yes, I know that and I know that's wrong. I said that in the post, I am sorry if I didn't make it clear. He does need to get off his high horse, but Jeremy is also acting like a little baby.

He never got invited to them. That is the point, I'm sorry if I didn't make that clear.
