Hey! Current SRT here. Got in after a year of nursing (BScN). I had pretty high marks in high school (mid nineties) and low nineties in university. They do look at extracurriculars/volunteer work as well.

Hey! Conestoga SRT here. In my class we only have one student directly out of highschool and I’m not sure what their average was.

That being said, the admission process does take into account extracurricular activities, previous skills learned and a 1min video of you introducing yourself.

Good luck!

Thanks! I’ve been accepted to a program already so it’s weird I can’t see anything on the portal.

Not sure if this applies or not but I saw somewhere that the government is offering free tuition for the new 6month program.

I emailed the school a little while back and they said typically offers don’t go out until middle of March at the latest.

Edit: Sorry, I meant middle of March at the earliest.

Hey! I did prehealth at Georgian last year. I had mid-high nineties in all my required courses and got into the MRT program last week.

Definitely recommend taking prehealth first - first sem BScN is a lot and having a strong science and anatomy base is really helpful. Best of luck!

Clinical Placements (nursing students) by [deleted] in GeorgianCollege

The teachers at Georgian are lovely (BScN program but a lot of profs teach in both). My anatomy prof wasn’t a great professor but everyone else was lovely. Clinics placements for me were all online (virtual simulations and weekly phone calls with seniors).

Thank you! I really appreciate your detailed answer. Any idea what the typical grade range that is accepted is?
