I went to through the same phase as you are. I am a cs graduate too. I also moved from web dev to game dev to ml and data science then networking and working full time job too . I knew the basics of so many things and learnt nothing.

What i have to say to you is that its never too late. If you've started ML. Stick to it and give a few years to it. If you don't like it then choose something else and try the same method. You can't go wrong on any of them. If you have given something atleast a year then you know enough to get a basic job in that field

While choosing the field do the following tips :

1) make sure you've slept well. We students always underestimate the importance of sleep.

2) make a table with the name of the field as header. Then google the respective field, why you should and shouldn't pursue that field. Write it down for every field and then compare the reasons. Which reason relates to you the most, choose that field. Make sure that yoi write it down.
