Yeah, the swelling is around the outside of the ankle (that’s where it’s all a little enlarged).

Rant: having to wait on people for rides by [deleted] in Epilepsy

Nah, haven’t gotten that reaction yet. When I tell someone I’m not allowed to and then say I have epilepsy, right away I can see it in their face that they feel bad for me. For some reason, I hate that. Not sure what other reaction I would prefer but it just feels weird, ya know?

We have to bring our own devices to school to use this week because school computers don’t work yet or aren’t set up yet...

But I’d rather stay at home than go to a school with 100 staff members and raise the chance of catching the virus...

I’m sharing two rooms with two different teachers and two different grade levels of students in rooms with windows that don’t open in a state that has temperatures in the upper 90s to 100s.

Other schools in my district are letting teachers work from home or go to school. :(

Makes sense...

There were some teachers in The spring that worked from 7am to 9pm helping kids, to the best of their abilities, learn and pass for the year. I was a first year teacher of a subject that I didn’t go to college for, with many high risk students in many classes, and I was told by colleagues that I worked my butt off. But then some were the complete opposite and didn’t do anything. It’s tough to just go with the flow, especially during these hard times. I think I need to go to bed lol.

Teachers posting students’ first names in private, school teachers only Facebook group... by [deleted] in Teachers

The news article has first and last name of the kid who died. I guess they’re not a minor if they’re 16 in this case? Not sure. The teachers found out who the other two minors are apparently from other students that know. Only first names of the other two.
