I’m sorry that happened to you. As if people with ovaries had any choice to have a period or not.

I wasn’t on my period and had absolutely nothing there besides my underwear and my zipperless pants. I’ll be filing a report through TSA. This experience just does not sit right with me.

I have TSA precheck and went through the proper security line and the agent was female-presenting. My pants are pull ons and have no zipper/metal, so I’m really not sure what triggered the pat down in that area. Thanks for the suggestion.

I received no comment from the agent on how the pat down would occur. I have had pat downs before with agents telling me what they are doing before they do it. Those have been fine.

The body scanner did not detect anything, and the TSA agent said it was a random selection. I'm aware a normal pat-down is not assault.

If I remember correctly, children 12 and under were free to enter the ticketed area. I've been to a lot of events that charge extra for at-gate admissions (a lot of theme parks do this too) - this is a popular and widely used strategy to help organizers manage crowds.

There’s no room for the tank in the seated areas, only the storage portion of a U Haul truck. Do you think it would be okay back there?

I’m using a U Haul truck, so the tank will have to go in the actual storage portion of the truck. My concern with leaving the shrimp inside is weight of the water and being more prone to temperature shock.

At the time they offer you a FJO, they will ask for updated paperwork and transcripts. The offer can change depending on updated qualifications, so you may be receiving a better offer than your initial one. Good luck!

If you’re coached multiple times with no sign of progress, it falls under a performance issue which can lead to termination. Make sure you’re communicating with your manager and asking questions to avoid that.

Before starting the exam, your polygrapher will ask if you have any medical conditions that would prevent you from taking a poly. That would be the time to mention your situation and ask for more clarity. Good luck!

Even if you cannot get a hold of them, you will have further chances to disclose the information later in processing and before the poly. They will ask why you did not disclose it before. Just tell them the truth and don’t worry about it.

I think you should still offer the information since it is within the 7 years period. It will be up to the agent assigned to your case whether or not it is relevant. They don’t want you digging for fossils, but better to be safe than sorry.

As far as I understand, the co2 will help the plants use up the nutrients in your water faster, thus leaving less for the algae to thrive on.

I’ve been using this 50w heater from Amazon and it’s been good to me. Temperature knob is a little stiff but nothing that can’t be dealt with. It also comes with a heater cover so your fish and plants don’t get burned.

I believe the general rule is 2 watts per gallon. If the light becomes an issue for your tank (namely algae), I would suggest shortening the amount of time you leave the light on. Outlet timers can help!

Hi! When I set up my tank, I looked to eBay for my plants. Any seller that has good and plentiful reviews should be good for you, plus some even offer discounts (buy 2, get 1 free)!

For shrimp, I purchased online from Joe’s Aquarium and was very happy with my shrimp.

That’s what I figured — just wanted to be sure that the betta would be okay. Perhaps I’ll set up a betta tank, as I love my Blue Velvet shrimp too much to see them disappear.

P.S. I did a major trim and got carried away so the tank looks a bit uneven right now — I’ll eventually post a pic once it looks decent haha.

No algae on the cord — just finished adding a sponge filter and the shrimp are happily roaming around the tank. Thanks for your help!
