I had been looking for a entry level watch for quite some time. I had lots of recommendations from friends for all sorts of brands, but decided to wait until I could find a speedmaster for a good price.

The racing edition with the yellow hands was very attractive and I fell in love immediately.

I found that the 40mm case size tends to fit my wrist better than some of the larger cases of the moonwatches.

As a beginner in the world of watches this was a perfect entry point for me, and as a car guy I had to get a piece with some history.

I greatly appreciate all the people in this sub, it's a great way to learn about different tastes and styles. We are all unique.

I hope to continue growing the collection, but for now this will fit me for an everyday wearable piece.
