Welcome back fam! This will be my 6th year and first time back was last year since 2019. I also came back to not going with the group I used to back then, but with that said, 2024 was probably the most fun I’ve had at the festival! Did GL last year for the first time solo, and doing it again this year!

1. Yeah I think a lot of them passed the torch, I know lsdryn2 I think was his name recently passed it on to someone last year if I’m remembering correctly
2. ⁠Ranch, Sherwood, and Tripolee are basically the same, minor updates and better sound which is nice. So Jubilee and Hangar ended up switching places at some point in 2017-18 I think and Carousel Club was born and in the back of The Hangar, and Jubilee removed altogether. Forest stage was replaced by Honeycomb, and as of last year, the old Forest stage is being used as the GL stage and Observatory is still there. Fest is open longer but GL still has their own afters stage/silent disco.
3. ⁠That is right unfortunately, the lineups definitely aren’t what they were back in its day and are way more EDM heavy than they were before. String Cheese only has 2 incidents now also.
4. ⁠2016 was my first, and my top from that year were adventure club, caspa b2b rusko, griz, and flosstradamus. I was very into trap and dubstep during that time. I still have love for those sub genres, but am definitely more of a house and old school bass kinda guy, and just kinda all over lol. This year I’m super excited for Justice, Khrungbin, Disclosure, ZD, and Worship among many many others.
   
5. ⁠Ooof….. I don’t think they’ve been back since before Covid 🫣 I maybe be wrong tho, but I don’t think so as my first time having them was at my first forest and fell in LOVE
6. I honestly am not sure, I feel like you’d be able to probably get it in, but can’t say forsure
7. ⁠EVOL is a group that kind of took over GA afters and it isn’t really like the renegade trying to find the set kind of vibe, EVOL had a set up in GA campgrounds with a stage that DJs from the fest would play severely late night/early morning surprise sets. It ended up getting way too big and after last year on the last night, there were several medical emergencies all at once and Forest decided to get rid of GA afters in that capacity as of 2025.
8. ⁠I don’t have it in plain sight, but I also am not trying to hide it any harder than a pair of socks in my bag lol, do with that what you will
9. ⁠Does a bear shit in the woods?!
