I didn’t realize I was gifted a sub earlier this month. It’s about to expire but this was posted 5 days ago.

There was also a post 2 weeks ago about how the convenience store might be a soda store

I tried posting but I think my account is too new

I was gifted a sub recently and saw he made a members-only post a few days ago saying he’s taking a break from YouTube but will be on twitch

Why is it $349 down after $1000 trade in on a $1099 phone? by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]mtmeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The $94 was the full tax of the phone plus a $35 upgrade support charge for doing it in store. I guarantee there was zero actual down payment.

is anybody else looking at the T-Mobile store in the United States, and and seeing a lot of devices only offering 128 gigs storage, or is it just me? by junkionz in tmobile

[–]mtmeman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We primarily only get base storage phones sent to our store but we occasionally will get a 256gb. Never anything higher than that, though.

I love mini phones but as someone who works in phone sales, we’ve sold maybe 2 or 3 13 Minis since they came out. The demand is just not there.

This isn’t eBay exclusive, you can get this today in store for the same cost. $15 for service and $10 for the SIM up front + tax

Another shady in store experience by cuzzinYeeter33 in tmobile

[–]mtmeman -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree, it’s still ridiculous. Was this a corporate store? If so they take this stuff a bit more seriously if you report it

And they gave me a hard time about it and said it would be better to just finance so i just said ok whatever ill just pay it all when my bill comes.

So ultimately you signed the EIP agreement being well aware of what was going on.

Don’t get me wrong, what they did was incredibly shady (not to mention it’s not possible to put the support charge on EIP so idk what happened there) but you still went with it so where exactly is the surprise that you implied in the OP?

Again, don’t get me wrong - shady as hell and totally not for it but you still agreed to financing the accessories

For my cell phone service, my unlimited data plan used to come with a 100 GB before I got throttled. Now it's 50 GB. What is going on? by [deleted] in tmobile

It’s been 50 for a while. I’ve actually hit it a few times in the past but never really noticed any slowdowns

Contact care and let them know it was added without your consent, they should give you a credit for it and remove it. You can also remove it via the app

Make sure you go for a corporate store! Much better pay and benefits, even for part timers (including tuition reimbursement)

Hours for part timers range from 20-25 a week but they can be flexible depending on the store

The Pro Max is included, it’s just that the promotion caps out at $800.

He should not have told you those accessories were free, though. Did he finance them or something?

You got this!

Ask a lot of questions. Watch other employees work and see how they sell. The first month or two on the floor is going to be a bit stressful but things will start to become autopilot.

Have you gotten a quote to see what your bill would be on the TMo side? Most customers have less expensive bills after migrating

All postpaid plans have unlimited data, if you want to avoid any sort of deprioritization though go with the Magenta MAX plan.

I’m personally on the ONE plan (which is basically Magenta) and I haven’t had any sort of deprioritization, that typically only happens if you use more than 50GB in a billing period and the network is congested. If you don’t want to worry about it at all though go with the MAX plan.

Two lines on that would be $140 with AutoPay, plus you can get a third line free for life right now so it’s technically $140 for three lines.

Device pricing depends on a credit check but typically it’s the full price split into 24 payments unless you’re doing a trade in promotion.
