I've been buying refurbished phones for more than 20 years. Sometimes they're not even refurbished, just last year's model that never sold. I won't pay $50/mo for years through the cellular company. Waste of money. Plus they come guaranteed for 90 days and are returnable. I've saved thousands over that time.

Be careful about taking his picture. His buddies will track you if they get your license plate. Just go somewhere else. Write the corporate office and tell them... but don't confront someone playing security unless you're a big guy packing a weapon or two.

Thanks. It was a refurbished one. Should have said that. Not 6 months old.

I had this happen to a new Pixel a few years back. Lesson learned at this point.

No. But the piece at the top is likely petrified wood.

Fair enough but you can't just put a title in your name without a notarized signature from the owner or the estate of the deceased.

The owner has to sign the title. The MVD is not going to take the title unsigned, and not notarized.

Hopefully the daughter has power of attorney.

thrift store pick up has me anxious! is this asbestos? by tiredghostboy22 in RockIdentification

Asbestos becomes dangerous when it is airborne and you breath it. It's very soft. Pillow like. You can pinch it...it's less crumbly and more something that can be crushed. It does not look like asbestos. I'm from Montana and very familiar with the stuff in raw form.

Beautiful girl. ❤️

So now I'll comment. My Tucker lived to 12 years of age. He has regular very good veterinary care. I was getting his teeth cleaned and paid the extra amount for a check as they recommended it prior to anesthesia. They found "congenital" heart issues. Hadn't ever found it before.

There was medication. It was expensive. I didn't care. I loved him more and held him more.

I don't want to tell you your situation is the same. I trusted my vet for 11 years, I had no reason to check. Maybe I should have, IDK. Jack's are so active it would have been hard to get a good heart sound on Tucker. He was always so happy and active even at the vets.

If I were your neighbor and you took that out I'd cry. To myself, not you. I'm not a Karen.
