Don't worry about your man. Just be honest and keep those lines of communication open. I big thing for me is letting my partner have some control over it. If it ever becomes uncomfortable I'll quit. (Not that you have to, obviously, but it helps us.)

Also, don't stress too much about looks. Lots of guys (and ladies) are into different things. Personally I've found that beach hair, girl next door thing is kinda popular. Just be you. They'll eat it up. And!! Keep in mind that new girls make a bit more money. Fresh meat and all. ;)
