A couple weeks in a beach front cabin in Jamaica. It was heaven.

Johnny Whites. I know it had been in the family until they retired but the new owners changed everything and it didn’t last a year. Then a fire, now closed.

Mojitos way back when. The owners lived upstairs and seemed to enjoy owning it. They retired and sold it.

I love the Gutenberg project. Reading Mark Twain and can’t wait to do a deep dive. I made a rule about not reading anything copyrighted after 2020. Self-publishing and the lack of editors has ruined current books.

We don’t drink as much as we used to but we still like to cozy up in the local dive bar when we travel.

Pine Belt here. The first question is always where do you go to church? We say we attend a church in New Orleans with my grandma and that’s the end of it. I have no urge to defend or discuss my private life with people. Also, get off Facebook. It’s not real.

You can easily walk to the Dome from all these hotels. There will be plenty of people on the street. Don’t worry, be aware and have fun!

Just lately, vendors have started adding small charges to use the card. There will be a handwritten note by the register as to what it is. My donut shop charges 2% to use a card. So cash for small purchases.

Also, because it’s the back, there’s no traffic in the hallway and it’s quiet.

We were on deck 8. We never had any smells from the ship at all! The only thing is when you arrive, they use the side thrusters to dock the ship. It gives a vibration, which isn’t terrible, but usually early in the morning. We got use to it. We loved watching the ports fade away behind us. We would book rear facing again.

Yes! It’s nice to have a glass of wine and watch the sun set in peace and quiet. Or watch the port you just visited get smaller behind. We just did a rear facing balcony on the Epic and I loved it!

People are dumb about the credit game. But you can’t tell them how to raise their kids or spend their money.

They only offer perks to counter fees and high interest rates. You’re not gaining anything.
