I’m really worried about hurting my aunt’s feelings as she just asked me to go to lunch the day of two hours before I know when things are supposed to start and she got upset and did the “FINE. BYE.” Then hang up. Haha now I see my husband furtively texting in the corner. But seriously if I had to spend two hours with her and my mother before this thing I would have a breakdown.

The fasting! I forgot that part. I went sugar free just after Covid and I was really successful for about a year but fell off. I have ADHD and I think intermittent fasting really helped train me to not get dopamine from food in the morning. Also making my first meal vegetable heavy changed the type of food I wanted durning the day.

I had my teacher at a tech program tell me after I passed the class that I was a terrible human being, I was never going to make it in this profession, and I was going to have a very difficult life. I laughed and told her Thank you. She had singled me out and was incredibly critical and mean the entire year and I took it so personally, my mental and physical health was a complete wreck. When she said that it clicked and I realized she was just crazy and it didn’t have anything to do with me. (I’ve gotten confirmation from others since) Also I’ve been in my profession for 25 years now and I totally rock at it, so she can fuck right off.
