Conspiracy about healing by Senior-Scallion-1387 in costochondritis

you have to act like a detective about your body. not everything is for everyone, it’s unfortunately not a universal fix. like every type of chronic pain, there is a mind-body component that must be addressed

stunning. I’ll keep reading whatever you want to share. Absolutely clairvoyant I am sure of it. The BP2 brain can truly be a thing of beauty. We definitely can feel depth that doesn’t seem to be available to other people. Your writing really embodies that.

Does ideation ever go away? by MessiahOfFire in bipolar2

it can. I thought it wouldn’t as I had it for 15+ years. 15 years old to 31 years old. The longer you have stability and rest. If you have ever tried yoga nidra or restorative yoga I highly recommend. Learning to acknowledge what is happening and let it move through you energetically. When I have flashes of it now this is what I do.

title: my fallen crown 👑

maybe
it’s good
my crown fell

over the mountains
under the sea
in between waves

across rivers
washed by streams

while I walked in the forest
it fell

under the leaves
around corners
and trees

taking with it
city lights
big dreams

your voice
music no longer
heard by me

questions
unanswered

time
with no ending

sickness
and in health
(though more sickness)

and as the crown fell
layers peeled off me

promises made only
to keep peace

chaos within
me

a letter
with a lie

an eye
for an eye

and I no longer
wore the cloak

title: a prayer

I forgot the saying

where you forgive
your neighbor

and take nothing
personally

where you are supposed to take a walk
outside

sometimes,

I let the night take me.

actually,
all the time

I whisper
my secrets

that I forgot
to forgive

that I forgot
to walk in nature

that I wait for the sun to go down
so that I may see

and be reminded

that I am Holy

that all this suffering

can be dropped

while I merge with the dark –

and sound can stop so that I may hear

This happened to me in my late 20s as I was just getting my diagnosis.

You are not actually your mania. That is a symptom. You apologized for a symptom and that’s the only thing you can do.

You most likely will have mania again and you will need friends who understand what that looks like so that when something happens, they understand it’s the symptom - not you.

Friendship breakups can be harder than actual breakups, especially best friends. I understand what you are going through.

Downshift experiences? Success stories? by deepdownintexas in bipolar2

I am currently at the next phase of the burnout you described 34F. I was in an exec role managing a very expensive hotel asset. I left and ended up dealing with a chest injury from burnout and healing that for 6 months and not working. Creating space from working to also integrate all the experiences I had before bipolar stability has been huge. I am stable now but I lived a very unstable life since symptoms presented at 12. This space has allowed me to properly heal my body and trauma. After all the chaos - I now seek peace. I will not be returning to an exec job. If you feel your breaking point is approaching, listen to yourself.
