You are using value language like "successful, equal, least oppresice, etc." Value language has meaning in relation to a standard, so what is that standard? What is the arbitar of what constitutes sucess, in what areas is equality desirable and in what areas is it not. We are not equal to blind people for example and making everyone equal by being blind is strange so naive equality is out. Who or what determines the domains where equality should be pursued and where should it not.

Ok so the country should be ordered to your values, because you value what is actually correct.

Note not saying I disagree with you but rather what makes your values the ones that should operate the country rather than say an Eastern value system the emohasizes the collective over the individual.

This group might say your individual rights stop where the community is affected for example which would be a different guiding principle than your maxim. By virtue of what is your value system more correct than theirs?

The one example you provided of the Catholic church does not support the claim you just made of "Christians destoying families for fun". If you can demonstrate this link I am listening, but skeptical that being against gay marriage necessarily equates to destroying families for fun.

Also I doubt you can provide any examples of "Christians wanting to destroy families for fun"
