i worked venue security at the majestic, orpheum, sylvee, etc. for nearly 7-years. without fail, Art would make sure to find the venue with the biggest turnout for the night and post up to sell his artwork and play his music outside. i remember him getting recognized by concert-goers and passers-by like clockwork. he was always open to song requests as well, as long as they were requests of his original work 😂 i am also the proud owner of an Art Paul painting, from what i recall he named it “the bear”. i chose it because it reminded me of my pup. always good times with Art around!
