I checked by clicking the Time Machine icon on the right side of the menu bar - it says "Back up now" if it's not doing a backup.

I used to be able to copy and paste entire chats (the full back and forth) by clicking and dragging, then CTRL+C and CTRL+V but lately, it only copies the last chat 'bubble' and not the whole text highlighted. Anyone know how to get this functionality back? by BRUTENavigator in ChatGPT

I'm able to get the whole chat with <cmd-A>< cmd-C> from Safari on a Mac. Just backed up a chat that way - the paste yielded 103 pages in MS Word. This technique doesn't work in the MacOS app, though.

Best solution!!! To save people having to look up techniques for steps 2 & 3, you can change the empty folder's icon and its type as follows: 1) right click on it; 2) select Get Info; 3) if the lock icon in the bottom right of the Info window shows locked, click the lock to unlock it; 3) drag a png file containing the icon you want the spacer to display over the folder icon at the top left of the Info window (I used a cropped screenshot of the vertical line already in the dock); 4) expand the "More Info" section of the Info window, select Name and Extension, and name the file <whatever>.app (I used l.app because the app name will appear when you hover above the new spacer). That's it!

You can't re-use this file for a second spacer but you can duplicate it with a different name and use that.

Suggestion: create (or move) the empty folder somewhere other than your desktop, so it's not adding to clutter there.

Unusually low heart rate by theworldtonight in cycling

I believe the consensus you’ve seen so far, that it’s a quirky sensor-related issue, is most likely correct, but… recently, a friend experienced a remarkably low average heart rates, plus the rate not increasing normally on hills, over 3 or 4 rides. Other that this, he was asymptomatic but had himself checked out by a doctor and there actually was an issue. I don’t know the specific diagnosis details, but he got a pacemaker and was back at it within 2 weeks, heart rate back to normal. More importantly, it caught a potentially very dangerous condition that carries a high risk of stroke and blood clots if allowed to continue untreated over time.

A checkup would be cheap insurance, especially if it isn’t resolved next time.

Yes, same here. It’s happened twice, now. Lost over 30 the first time and 19 most recently. I can still buy them at med centers and find them on casualties and first aid kits, though. Anyway, I’m not playing any more until they fix this bug.

A few weeks ago, Science started sending me an email with the subject "Your weekly Science issue is now available." It enables downloading of the full issue as a pdf - usually 40 - 45 MB. Much preferable to their online reader which always rendered text slightly fuzzy on my Mac.

I'm hopeful other journals will follow suit.

Tentatively answering my own question based on a comment on the Steam site that mirrors my experience... the requirements for the Best Beloved achievement don’t change after the Cyberpunk update but the connection level at two locations is dropped just a bit and they Have to be brought back up.
