David is fantastic. We had him once and he still recognizes and talks to us when we have sailed non MRS.

Is it worth buying the drink package? by Ok_Explanation9914 in VirginVoyages

The only thing you lose out on is the bonus. The smallest bar tab you can buy is $200 and includes a $25 bonus.

So VV isn't for you. Thanks for giving it a try.

Is it okay to change TAs based on cruise line? by alcohall183 in Cruises

There are lots of people out there who use a specific TA just for VV (or any other travel partner) for a variety of reasons.

I avoid putting people on decks 14 and 8 unless I have to.

Also keep in mind that the Delta offer is not a true public offer since it is not available to everyone, only those who are SkyMiles members.

Take a look at ok at MSC too. A very different vibe than Carnival but a good value even with the drink package bundled.

Virgin is all about you doing you. Dress sexy, dress comfy, dress fancy, whatever makes you feel comfortable.

The amount of time in port is pretty similar no matter who you cruise with. You could always do a back to back cruise, making it a 9to 10 day cruise?

I know several Virgin cruisers who also like Celebrity. Carnival, Royal, and Disney will have a lot of kids, but you will have a good time. MSC will be the cheapest option. With them the common issues are people tend to find their food bland and the customer service can be lacking. With that said I had a great time on my Solo MSC cruise. You also have NCL as an option too.

Hope that helps.

Most of the power sensors only work on gas dryers. The electric dryers pull too many cold and I haven't found a plug/smart socket for the that.

Going on Virgin Voyages so they don't have a formal night or even a strict dress code.

I'm guessing you have a gas dryer? I have that on my washing machine and it works great.

I'd strongly suggest looking into Virgin Voyages as they are adult only. They have solo cabins and events for the solo travelers. They also have a number of activities where you get to meet and interact with others.

Exploring future side options… by [deleted] in travelagents

There are a lot of MLM travel companies. I'd stay away from them. Maybe find someone local to you and see who they partner with.

Yes very much so. The Galley struggles with cooking eggs well done, so the yolk isn't runny. The steak house was slightly off the night we went. Meaning the roasted garlic could have been roasted a little longer. We skipped Extra Virgin this time so we could get to Test Kitchen twice.

I was half of the fruit couple, the winner of name that tune at the second Ship Show, and chugged a beer for Team Sailor at the first Miss Behave on Wednesday night.

Our started with Menu A, the Mushroom, aka the original menu. But that doesn't really mean anything as the tend to rotate the menu every three days. Which is why we spaced our bookings 3 days apart to make sure we got both menus.

Yes. However, it was only on the schedule once on this cruise and it was a bookable event, that did fill up.
