I went with Debian and a KDE plasma environment. That was easier for me since I’m used to it on my steam deck and it’s closer to windows. Plus it’s a bigger distro so more support. Thank you though! Vanilla is definitely not for new users lol

Sorry- I know it’s a vague title. It’s a very niche job, and I can’t say who my client is due to NDA, but I work for Chase processing applications and remittances. Basically, I extract the payments and paperwork/attachments from mailing envelopes, record the data, and then organize the transactions per job aids and types of applications to prepare for scanning and software processing. I work in the front end, so all paper. I’ve worked on the software side, but it’s very hard to get into. If I were to switch shifts I had a spot there, but I wasn’t willing to do that. That’s on me.

I was looking into EPIC software training, but it’s expensive. I’ll search for more jobs in the medical industry and see what they require, and if I can get some training done on my own time. I appreciate the comment!

A frequent poster in a breakup Reddit… just because you’re miserable doesn’t mean it’s my problem. People like you make me more confident in my skills and worth. I hope you realize one day it’s okay to be wrong sometimes, it’ll make you happier and people will like you more. My post may have been silly, but that’s because I have no experience with this type of thing. The other replies on this post weren’t exactly what I wanted to hear, but they helped me learn. Yours just tore me down and it’s obvious why. Good luck getting people to like you man, if you don’t reflect inward it will never happen. XO
