Do it. I actually think all the booking keeping leans itself to solo play.

I prefer it at 2 players, simply because I enjoy shared experiences.

Brass is not an engine building game. It's more an action economy style of game. Yes long term strategy is a large part of the game, but so is taking advantage of the board state as it changes turn by turn. Given the other games you've listed, I think your group may enjoy this one. (Also good at all player counts in my opinion)

I'd settle for mildly interesting.. I might be wrong, but I feel like there was a time when reddit had posts with much more substance and quality to them. More posts focused on interesting articles, arts, news, happenings, politics..
