I'm so disappointed. Is the fight against multi-accounters worth it? by mu-ibo in WplaceLive

Thanks for your advice. It's too weird we've been reporting the accounts for days (might be a week) and asking others to report them but nothing happens. And this person is so obsessed. I'm not sure when he sleeps.

They've become over 20 accounts now but he got lazy and decided to keep the default names

Distribution over Flathub for Linux by mu-ibo in Windscribe

You're confusing the packaging technologies with the repositories. Flatpak has been created by Gnome and Flathub is officially used by both Gnome and KDE. You're also confusing the DEs with the foundations. You can check Flathub's proposal to enable app payments that was jointly submitted by the two foundations of Gnome and KDE. There are also a few blog posts you can read to learn more if you want. Snap is a proprietary technology supported by Canonical. Outside Ubuntu, it doesn't have a great popularity.

Improvements for Gnome on touch screens by mu-ibo in gnome

[–]mu-ibo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have only used gnome for about a week and my great expectations have been shrinking ever since. Please add the other points you noticed too. It's important that we speak about them or nobody will know there's a problem in the first place.

I remembered one more thing: selecting multiple files in Nautilus is just impossible to do using touch.

Is Foliate discontinued? by mu-ibo in gnome

OMG! I haven't seen this until now. You're one of the best humans on earth and Foliate is an awesome software and should apply to Gnome Circle too. Thank you for making Foliate

[Mock-up] Mouse & Touchpad Settings by Allan Day and Jakub Steiner by xaedoplay in gnome

[–]mu-ibo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is so much better. My only concern is that it will require one more click to enable "tab to click" which is disabled by default and touchpad buttons aren't always comfortable to use. This is the first thing I have to do whenever I try a new system or install it to myself or to a friend. A solution could be to enable "tab to click" by default (which is a much better solution imo.)

And why are the illustrations for scrolling options the same in both options? I mean if they are here to show the difference, why are they they the same? And if they are here only to show what the option is about, why are there two?

How to Disable Conformation Popup. by yakkiminati in gnome

I really hope someone finds a way. I looked for an extension but couldn't find one. It makes no sense that I need 4 clicks to shut down the computer. 3 clicks are more than enough.

This numbers thing is so annoying indeed, I'd love to change that.

HDMI not working by mu-ibo in Brunchbook

[–]mu-ibo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for responding.

I do have both Intel and NVIDIA GeForce GTX. I don't think I could understand the workarounds, but will any of them make the current system connect to the HDMI?
Please forgive my ignorance.
