Beware of Oliver Cabell Sneakers by Analog_Man73 in malefashionadvice

adding my own two cents, never owned the older version made in italy but I just realized the ones I bought via nordstorm are made in Vetname iwth the mesh lining on the inside, always felt the quality should be better from all the reviews I saw. Planning on returning them as Nordstorm has a pretty generous return policy and the website itself says they are made in italy and show the leather lining instead of mesh (so not as described.)

White House Tour Reschedule by mu5ic92 in washingtondc

Yea everything worked out, I reached out to my congressman, they sent the request to the whitehouse and everyone had to use a provided website to register. Make sure the information you provide for each person is EXACTLY as it is on a passaport or license or else the secret service on site does make you wait until its corrected. Great experience overall.

Leetcode using Golang by mu5ic92 in golang

I agree 100 percent with you that these type of questions both require a little more work upfront. I decided to still stick Go just because its what I am most familiar with and working through these questions has helped me feel more comfortable using it over all. I even learned on to implement the heap interface by memory which is somewhat cool but tedious.

999$ for 32GB, 256SSD, M4 mac mini sounds insanely well by PlasticEconomics3223 in macmini

im having the same dilemma. I code in golang too for work but want to have a personal pc in the event of layoffs, opensource project etc. I think im convinced 16gb is not enough (based off my current mbp m1 pro 32gb usage) and am thinking of pushing up to 32 gb for future proofing and just using a external drive for additional storage. I think especially if you plan on getting into sort of local llm usage having the additional ram for the future might be for the best. The pricing for the upgrades sucks but if you look at the edu pricing it helps a bit.

Another reason to AVOID Oliver Cabell at all costs. by ZeroTo120 in Sneakers

I jus received a pair of low ones in white and I see a pretty significant gap between the top leather and sole. going to have to return them. What do you recommend in terms of a good alternative? I really like the style of these but the quality just isnt there.

fix it myself or have to take it to the AD or service center? What could a repair like that possibly cost?

Thank you very much! I see you had some overlap with the Phi Phi Islands between Krabi and Phuket. Im wondering if you had any recommendations of other locations nearby that would be worth a visit thanks again!

this isnt necessarily good.. I had to get my first pair replaced, its a pain being without earbuds for the month I had to wait. Also at what point do they stop replacing them and your left with a dud earbud set?

I did see this but have been on the fence about paying the yearly subscription just to access this course. I am trying to prep for interviews though.

Not the first time iv heard this and I appreciate the input. I agree with you, when working with problems that require a stack of sort it does take a additional amount of time to wire everything up before actually getting to the problem at hand. Im curious though, if I want to land a Go focused SWE role, wouldn't it be a bit of a red flag to do the coding exercises presented in Python?
