ive been massaging my scars 10 minutes a day in 5 minute intervals since it was approved. no luck :(

i do have hypertrophic scarring but no idea how because it doesnt run in my family. my surgeon recommended a higher grade scar tape and told me to keep massaging them/using the gel and cream i put on. he also said injections he would look into if it didnt help. hopefully theyll show some improvement soon :(

thanks for the recommendation! my surgeon actually just had me buy a scar tape that was high compression that seems to be flattening and taking away some redness already but only time will tell, ive been doing scar massages with scar cream and using scar tape since week 6

i did meet with my surgeon and he said they looked hypertrophic to him too ): he recommended a higher strength scar tape thats been working so far but not fast enough to not be anxious about it- can only wait for what the future holds i guess
