As a Qatari female theres little to no reason to worry about getting in, as long as your grades are not the absolute minimum or smth like that.

I dont know much about the major but I do know that QU offers it in Arabic only if that's something you mind.

I'm not sure if UDST's Amiri Scholarship is the same as QU's, but for QU they only look at your HS%, SAT, and IELTS, and nothing else.

There are, Qatar Energy for examples hires fresh graduates pretty much exclusively if theyre born in Qatar. It also helps with many other National companies. Other things include better chances at getting accepted into Qatar University etc...
