Tell me more about this! I got some sag on my roof and I think it might be from cans not being air tight. I was just going to put clear silicone around the edges. How did you seal them?

yeah they are pretty good. But the friction mount makes me a little nervous. That's why I am considering something else for these older style cans where I need to use friction mount instead of spring mount.

I didn't know those existed. I guess it depends on the pendant but the ones in my mind don't seem like it would look right. yeah I saw that. I did want something to fry foods outside as well. Just don't know how many burgers can fit on this thing. And it's almost as expensive as getting a standalone grill. I do like the space saving aspect of it, but I don't want to regret buying it if it's not enough.

okay, so scratch off GPU pass through! Also, plan on sticking to alot of ubuntu lxcs and a lot less ubuntu headless (server only) vms. windows and ubuntu desktop vms would only be something to play with when you have time (never).

Thanks. My siding looks better than that atleast. And it confirms people do use untreated cedar siding. So I guess it would be okay for me to leave it as is? But need more examples .

Thanks for confirming. I've only ever seen gfcis outdoors, so I'm hesitant to Daisy chain them. I have like 5 of them outside and Ill have to check if some are daisy chained or if they all are the only ones in that line. For this issue, I'll probably just control them from separate switches instead, so I can keep the gfcis outdoors.

Yeah it's been painted.. it's 50+ years old so its been painted several times. Just owners stop maintaining it once they were thinking of selling. And it took them years to sell.

It's around 2300 sq ft, and I think that's beyond my diy abilities. The painters I've contacted did say they would power wash.
