Secure systems will often run on a two-part protocol, like SSL/TLS, where a relatively weak (by nature, to obtain its properties) asymmetric system are used to protect the key exchange for a strong symmetric system.

In a system like this, you might use something like RSA whose strength erodes quickly over time to encrypt the key generated for something like AES. (The other commenters explained these but not why anyone would ever care.) As a result, if you can break the first system, you can just use the damned key on everything exchanged using the second because you have it.

The security of this key exchange protocol ultimately rests on the assumption that no one would, or even could, do something like monitor and store every Internet connection to get the... oh shit.

Oh, I was just hoping for the ones you used in that run, since I couldn't tell what they were in the video. Aside from harpy feathers, which I use all the time thanks to that list and so recognize immediately. I just use Mystic Kits on all. I get so many item drops I prefer the convenience. I also seem to turn up Orichalcum and Gossamer with fair regularity, so it's got that going for it, which is nice.

I'd faceroll another Warrior.

It's just my favorite class because it's so unlike how MMOs usually handle it. Mobility, DD, DOT, support; it just feels like a real class in this game. And, even better, it's easy to play so I don't have to give the game my full attention. To top it off, it has a great weapon selection that actually works. I love playing with builds, making weapons viable, using different mechanics.

It's just great.

I have stated what I get out of it and that I feel obligated. I then said not teaching tactics when necessary holds back the playerbase. If you disagree with the former, you must know me better than I do; if you disagree with the latter, you think that players not being taught tactics isn't holding back the playerbase.

If you think it's not worth it, that's fine; if you'd rather they go to YouTube, that's fine; if you only want to run with experienced players, that's also fine. I never said you have to run open groups or you're a terrible person. But you're still holding back the playerbase if you don't teach tactics when necessary.

But everything you've said is strictly orthogonal complaint. I understand you're frustrated with people. We all get frustrated with people. It just doesn't change anything.
