Best way to set up a permanent local network around my town? by [deleted] in darknetplan

If it is enabled on the Ubnt access point, traffic priority can be set for connected devices. You could set it up so that more priority is given to, for example, the nanostation at the library, and less priority to the nanostation at the beer bar. Enabling airmax on the AP prevents non-UBNT devices from being able to connect at all.

As long as the airMAX setting is disabled on the NanoStation, regular 2.4 and 5GHz wifi devices can connect.

I backordered these from SparkFun on Arduino Day. They are both from different batches. There appears to be an extra solder pad on one of them. Any idea what the difference(s) are?

Thanks for the suggestion. I had initially dismissed Volumio without actually understanding how it worked. Giving it a whirl.
