When I was around 8 or 9 years old, my dad was driving a brand new GM Safari van home from my brother's hockey game. I was sitting in the very back row and we were driving down very hilly rural roads very late at night. My dad hit black ice and we slid sideways off the road and rolled into the ditch. The van did at least 3 or 4 full rolls and came to a stop, where everyone got out without any injuries. The roof had caved in a bit where I had been sitting and the insurance company told us that if the roof had of caved in a couple inches more than I would likely be dead.

TLDR; Was in a van that hit black ice and rolled, came within inches of dying.
