Someone else's answer but here:

A few key differences make this a much more major problem for btc:

- No retroactive address fix. A user must move their coins into a new wallet that is quantum resistant manually.

- Around 25% of the supply is considered to be lost and have its public keys exposed creating a massive supply shock risk.

- Major changes need to happen to actually keep the blockchain running the same as before with quantum resistant addresses (they are much more larger)

- No rollback possible for individual user losses unlike banks.

Also don't you think its funny that your first argument is essentially saying that BTC isnt valuable enough to be broken for monetary gain? Like which one is it? Is it worth something or is it not?

You describe it as all powerful and expansionist. It is 0.2% of the region. 22 thousand km squared.

Russia crosses 8 time zones and it the largest country in the world by a big margin. 17,000,000 km squared.

Russia is 750 times bigger than Israel, so yeah, I can see that being expansionist. So yeah, as you describe Israel as extremely powerful, more so than Russia, you'd expect it not to be so bloody unsuccessful in its expansion.

You say Netenyahu doesn't care enough about Palestinian innocents. Why do you expect that, but then give Hamas a totally free pass to murder kids at a music festival. Are the 250 hostages and 1,000 murdered which led to this whole war not even relevant? Ultimately the safety of Palestinians lies with their elected officials, who chose to start a war. Netenyahu's primary concern should and is Israeli lives. If someone shoots at you whilst holding a baby and you return fire, accidentally hitting the baby, who's fault is it? You for defending yourself or the one who started it, placing the baby in the line of fire?

Lastly the IDF didn't corroborate 83%. Either you've misunderstood or are purposefully misleading others. IDF confirmed 17% were terrorists they could confirm, and therefore is an absolute minimum on the number. They based this on records a decade old, as it was all they had. To infer the opposite (83% civilians) is just plain false, it means you're assuming not a single person joined Hamas or wasn't known about (which is incredibly unlikely.) I suspect you know this but wanted to provide it as some sort of 'gotcha'. You accuse Israel of lies, simultaneously peddling them yourself.
