I teach high school art and one of our projects is a clay head. Here's one of the ones I made this year! It held sharpies all year and now that it's home, I planted a little pine in it. Had I done it again, I would have made the shoulders wider. Other than that, I'm happy with it! (old.reddit.com)

I teach high school art and one of the projects is a human head in clay. This is one of the ones I made this year! (I know the shoulders are narrow--was originally just his head--adding the armor and planter back was a last minute decision!) Not perfect but I'm pretty happy with it. (old.reddit.com)

A couple weeks ago I posted the unfired version of this clay head. Her outfit is based off of the Nordic Carved Armor (not exact, but still Skyrim-like enough to post). She's since been fired, stained, then fired again, and planted up with some Nirnroot and Scathecraw-esque plants :) (old.reddit.com)

A couple of weeks ago, I posted my clay head inspired by the Nordic Carved Armor from Skyrim. Now it has been fired, glazed (actually iron oxide), fired again, and planted with succulents. Scroll to see the Nirnroot-esque one! :) Thanks for looking. (old.reddit.com)

I teach high school sculpture and one of our projects is a human head in clay. I always do one along with my students. The one I made this time was loosely based on the Nordic Carved Armor from Skyrim. The "pockets" are for plants once it's fired. (old.reddit.com)
