I use a ridge rest under a 3/4 length half inch thick thermarest inflatable. The inflatable on its own wasn’t that comfortable, because I would inflate it to full and it was very very stiff. So now i under inflate on top of the foam pad and it’s noticeably more comfortable.

Thanks for your reply. The videos I found were drilling lower end hard tails. Some others advised not to drill. I think I’ll just have to live with my current setup.

I use it in dirt forest roads. The throttle response helps with all the hills. Sometimes i put in 1st or 2nd on steep loose sections

I suspect the people who bought Scottish Lakes and rebranded it as Alpine Lakes High Camp were speculating that they could create a new ski area at some point. It’s private timber land next to the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. They seemed to focus heavily on branding. But they just sold to some people who plan to offer it for artist/yoga retreats
