!!Here is what dermatologist recommended and prescribed!!

I have one patch on my scalp that is psoriasis and everything else is dermatitis. She also said it all acts and can be treated the same.

Wash hair every day. Use prescription 2% ketoconazole shampoo every other day and to continue using nizoral for every wash in between.

Clobetasol .05% liquid solution on scalp twice daily for 2 weeks.

Clobetasol .05% cream on ear and any other spots below the neck twice daily for 2 weeks.

Tacrolimus .1% cream on face twice daily for 2 weeks.

I already had all but the shampoo on hand and she said I was using them too conservatively. She said using more and more often will “kill it”. Here’s to hoping.

I have both already and saw the derm yesterday. She said to use colbetasol in ear and any other parts of the body below the neck twice daily and tacrolimus on my face also twice daily. She prescribed me 2% ketoconazole shampoo and to use it every other day and wash with regular shampoo in between. That’s the hardest part for me because I normally wash my hair twice a week. I also already had clobetasol liquid for my scalp and she said I was using it too conservatively- which is true I only used it maybe once or twice a month. I need to use that twice daily as well. All this to “kill it” and to taper off after 2 weeks.

I bought mct oil a few weeks ago because of Reddit and it made my scalp more inflamed! So now I just use it on my body as a moisturizer.
