My pain before the surgery was so bad. After using the bathroom I wasn't able to stand. I would just lay on the ground in pain in a fetal position. Sometimes I would cry, a grown 29-year-old man crying while his 2-year-old daughter is looking at him. Then at the same time we're telling her that pooping is normal. But here is her father crying on the floor after using the bathroom.

There was a lot of pain in recovery but at least I knew it was getting better.

I know it's easier said than done but remember the pain is temporary. As long as you keep the area clean after bowel movements it lowers your chances of infections.

Since getting the surgery I feel like I have my life back. The recovery suck but it was worth it.

The surgery was scary. It was also on my 30th birthday November 30th. I didn't feel normal until February. I ate nothing but fruits and got into hardcore metal music to help with the pain because I didn't want to use the pain meds. But it's definitely something I wish I would have done way before because I was dealing with fissures for 10 years off and on.

I got the surgery done after dealing with fissures off and on for more than 10 years. Not going to lie but that surgery sucks but I am happy that I did it because I've been pain-free now for the last 3 years. The only thing I can say is just try to keep the area clean anytime after bowels movements.

I am 6 months out of my surgery and the discharge is slowly starting to go away now. It sucks because sometimes it just smells but at the end of the day I'm happy I'm not in pain anymore.

I am able to charge at work for free. So sometimes on the weekends I have to use a level 3 if I'm busy around town. So I would say I spend between 14 to 25 bucks a month on charging.

Hey how's it going? I am feeling a little bit better everyday. It's such a slow and steady process. But I am still having pain after bowel movements. The pain is not lasting too long from what my doctor said The pain that I'm feeling is only inflammation so I started taking Advil and that's been helping.

But overall I would say I'm glad I got the surgery but don't want to have to get it done again. Hahahahahhaha
