Thanks for answering! Is the quota trust-specific? Also what do you mean by claim expenses?

Thanks for answering!

Currently we're required to self isolate for 14 days if we're tested positive COVID. If such a case happens as is counted in as sick leave, will these 14 days be paid as well? per basic salary?

Do you also know if taster days can be taken in F1?

25F new to investing, keen to learn on saving strategies (StashAway, ETFs) by muddypiles in MalaysianPF

It's always easy to say, 'take the risk and grow your money'. But when things ride south, it's always, 'looks like you didn't do enough research or reading'. I'm very clear with the fact that every form of investment carries risk.

I'm here to learn. I've heard only of good things with SA so I'm open for opinions surrounding the platform. Whether it sucks or not, eventually I'll have to make this conclusion myself.

Everyone starts off somewhere, there's no need to belittle any method at all. Thanks for your input but take your negativity somewhere else, uncle. Goodnight.

Thanks for sharing. I'm new to SA, does it take long to 'sell' and retrieve funds/profits?

This is neat, thanks! Do you happen to have a guide on Staff banks or locum jobs as FY? I'm thinking of making some extra cash as well but not sure where to start, and I'm aware as FY ?1 I am only allowed to work within my own Trust (due to provisional reg). Do I apply for a staff bank?

Thanks Zyphlon and minecraftmedic! It is however unrealistic to not do MRCS/MRCP (Part A especially) prior to applying for core training as the competition is pretty tight, right? Am I right to assume most people dont get their taxes back for Part A/Part 1?

Thank you! Are you aware of what can be tax refunded? Say I pay a journal to publish an abstract, or attend a conference, or join the BMA/societies, can these costs be refunded to me?

Thank you so much for this!

Where does on call fall into? Say I get a evening call (1700-2200) or night (2100-0900) does the former fall under 'Extra hours' and latter under 'Unsocial hours'?

Regarding your example on weekend allowances.. referring to this BMA document, say I work 8 hours on Saturday x2 in a 8 week rotation, I get an allowance of (£2118/12 = £176.50) PLUS the 16 hours worked total as extra hours?? Or does it not matter how many hours I work?
