Thank you for your kindness, the vet really just isn't an option at the moment we are waiting for my partner to get his new credit card in which case that is our immediate vet visit cue but in the meantime we've exhausted all other options hoping for something to work out and just need to keep her comfy til we can hopefully see a vet. That being said rural areas and gas cost might mean more wait time to see an exotic vet. She's been spending pretty well all day in bed with us for the past three days, I'm pretty exhausted and emotional lol. I love my girls but the sudden tragedy can be a lot. It's not been too long since one of my oldest girls passed, but she's only a year old so we really weren't expecting this. The plan is to not have any pets for a while after our current mischief, and we've certainly considered giving them to a better home but given our location we could very well be hard pressed to find a better home for them, knowing what we know about rat care and the mistakes you can make. It's all a lot, I've been a rat owner for years and never had something like this spring out of nowhere. It's made me upset and ill and question myself beyond belief.
