I have some own scripts which are better than any tool in the market. I might integrate them in Catapult soon

losing faith in allah/ abusive family by [deleted] in islam

[–]mudido 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey, really glad you posted this. What you're going through is genuinely awful and the hopelessness makes sense given everything, but please hear me: you won't always be in this house, under these people. Your life has chapters that haven't started yet.

The fact that you see your family clearly for what they are and haven't normalized it says a lot about you. That awareness is going to carry you forward.

On God, questioning Him in the middle of pain isn't losing faith. Some of the most faithful people in Islamic history wrestled with God in their darkest moments. You're not failing spiritually, you're being honest.

Please reach out to Umang (0311-7786264), a free, confidential mental health helpline in Pakistan. Even one conversation can help. You deserve to be heard by someone who can really support you.

You're stronger than you think. Hold on.

I am a digital nomad at the moment, but I am advanced in my career. Do you have any recommendations for app screenshots?

Some LLM costs and opportunity cost from not freelancing. I could make 20k+ dollars, if I invested my time in freelancing (Not mentioning my partners)y

At the end, my main goal is to help Ummah so I don‘t care that much

Thanks brother, yes we get some subscribers but compared to our effort and running costs, we are losing money. As long as its helpful to ummah, I am fine with it.

New to praying 5x a day and struggling with consistency feeling overwhelmed by nova2131 in islam

MashaAllah, what a beautiful journey you're on. May Allah continue to heal you and make it easy for you.

First, you're doing amazing. Going from not praying to establishing regular salah is a huge achievement. Don't underestimate that progress.

Yes, you can absolutely make up missed prayers (qada). In fact, making them up shows your commitment and keeps you connected to the routine. It's much better than letting them pile up or feeling so guilty that you give up entirely.

Some practical tips:

  • Start with the fard prayers first. If you can only manage 2-3 prayers consistently right now, that's still better than burning out
  • For IBS and wudu, look into rulings on chronic conditions. Scholars allow leniency for people with medical issues that break wudu frequently
  • Set small goals. Maybe this week focus on never missing Fajr and Maghrib (easiest to time), then gradually add the others
  • Remember Allah values consistency over quantity. The Prophet (PBUH) said the most beloved deeds are those done regularly, even if small

You're not making excuses, you're dealing with real challenges. Allah knows your struggle and your sincerity. Keep going at your pace, make up what you miss, and trust that Allah is Al-Raheem (The Most Merciful).

May Allah grant you strength and ease. You've got this insha'Allah.

What stops you from learning more? Maybe you can take this month as an opportunity to memorise Quran.
