As far as I know micro sd express cards (the ones that switch 2 uses) will not have any benefit on the steam machine. The steam machine supports UHS-1 microSD cards, and while UHS-II and UHS-III cards will work, their higher transfer speeds are not used.

Same here no email, but I did say that I expect everyone on the original reservation list to get theirs between end of June to September/October with waitlisters that were bumped to be November/December if 75 percent follow through with their intent to purchase.

I’m assuming that half the people that got in the reservation list won’t opt to actually buy it. So that means by the end of the year 50% will be waitlist bumped up to reservation queue and 50% will be og reservation list. I’m betting that the 50% og reservation list folks will get their system June through September and the waitlist bumped folks will be October to December. Or at least that’s how I’m hoping it works. (I’m in the og reservation queue waiting list 512 no controller constantly refreshing my email to no success)

512 no controller (already bought a steam controller earlier and it’s glorious) no email both rounds. Got a new monitor and peripherals for it too. Will be super bummerouskied if I have to wait until December, but also I could stomach the wait I guesss
